Christopher Plank is a British-born, New Zealand-based screenwriter. He is best known for his work on A Remarkable Place to Die (ACORN, ZDF, NINE), having co-written Episodes 4, 5 and 6 of Series 2. He will return as Script Producer for the third series, co-writing Episodes 2 and 6.

In 2025, Chris was a Staff Writer on Shortland Street, New Zealand’s longest-running scripted television show. He storylined across the series and wrote ten episodes. He has also storylined on projects including Child of Pop (in development with Warner Bros. International).

His debut short film Lads - which he wrote and starred in - is currently in post-production.

Drawn to stories about masculinity, morality and the complexities of human behaviour, Chris has two television series and a feature film in development.
